It’s been a very busy couple of months since our last meeting which I was unable to attend.
I was very concerned on the lack of numbers that we are currently achieving and the last thing that I would want is for the group to fold due to the lack of interest. So please try your best to make this meeting as we have a important speaker.
The speaker is Dr Graham Dyson, the Locum Clinical Psychologist at South Tees Hospital and we have posed several questions to him which you can read in the newsletter.
I had the pleasure of meeting Carole Goodchild when I was at the Friarage, she is a Service Improvement Lead – RDC and they run a clinic Monday to Friday at the Friarage and Wednesday at Guisborough. This is the Rapid Diagnostic Centre for Non – specific Symptoms ( suspected cancer clinic) and they help people with a range of non-specific vague symptoms such as:- weight loss, abdominal pain, bone pain/aches, feeing something is just not right in you. A very versatile and useful clinic for people who need help identify exactly what is wrong with them.
I have enclosed copies of the newsletter and the agenda for the meeting, I hope to see you there.
